The International Student and Scholar Office presents:

H-1B/Permanent Residence Workshop- Hiring Faculty that require immigration sponsorship.

Designed for department chairs, topics will include the following:

  • General criteria for H-1B employment
  • What is required of the department
  • Filing a successful Labor Condition Application
  • Identifying ALL off-site locations where the faculty member is expected to serve- why this is critical
  • Job letter
  • Petitioner/beneficiary responsibilities
  • Understanding of all associated costs of petition-who is required to pay
  • Permanent Residency
