Communication and Global Competence in Barcelona
Study communication and global competence in Barcelona, Spain with Towson University in Summer 2019. Barcelona, known for its rich and vibrant Catalan cultural identity, provides an ideal learning environment for understanding the relationship between communication, culture and identity, as well as developing skills necessary to attain competency in today’s globalized world. Participants will take part in class lectures, discussions and exercises, learn from guest speakers, and participate in field excursions. Program highlights include visits to Monserrat, Girona, the Dali-Theater museum in Figueres, a walking architectural tour, tapas cooking classes, and a visit to the Barcelona soccer stadium Camp Nou.
Participants will earn credit for one of the following courses: MCOM 479, COMM 470 or MCOM 670.
