H-1B/Permanent Residence Workshop- Hiring Faculty that require immigration sponsorship.
Designed for department chairs, topics will include the following:
- General criteria for H-1B employment
- What is required of the department
- Filing a successful Labor Condition Application
- Identifying ALL off-site locations where the faculty member is expected to serve- why this is critical
- Job letter
- Petitioner/beneficiary responsibilities
- Understanding of all associated costs of petition-who is required to pay
- Permanent Residency
