Faculty and Staff Kudos

Dr. Danice Brown, Associate Professor of Psychology, recently was awarded the Janet E. Helms Award in Mentoring and Scholarship in Professional Psychology. The award recognizes and honors the mentorship of “outstanding scholars who have had a significant impact on the development of emerging scholars in the field.” Dr. Brown will be awarded the honor at the 38th Annual Winter Roundtable at Teachers College Columbia University. The Roundtable is the “longest running continuing professional education program in the United States devoted solely to cultural issues in psychology, education, and social work.” Dr. Brown will also be providing a keynote address at the Winter Roundtable in February 2021, whose theme this year is entitled “A Pandemic of Racism.”  https://www.tc.columbia.edu/roundtable/
