New: Summer Break Off-Campus Shuttle Services Update!

Dear TU Community,

As Tigers gear up for summer semester, Parking & Transportation would like to inform the TU Community about upcoming adjustments to our regular shuttle services. After careful review and analysis, a modified off-campus shuttle schedule will be implemented effective May 30th to more efficiently meet the decreased demand for service during summer months. This will also support the overarching objective of the TU Campus 2030 sustainability goal, namely, the reduction of our carbon footprint.

  • Limited Route Service for Off-Campus Locations:
During the period of May 30th – August 9th, limited route service will be provided for these off-campus locations as indicated below:

    • Armory, Kenilworth, and Lake Walker shuttles will operate with one run in the morning and another run in the afternoon at the times listed below.
    • Goucher shuttle will operate with two morning and two afternoon runs.

The new route schedules are as follows:

Shuttle Route New Schedule – Leaving Campus
Armory 8:25 am and 3:25 pm, M-F
Kenilworth 10:20 am and 3:20 pm, M-F
Goucher 8:20 am, 10:20 am, 2:20 pm, and 3:20 pm, M-F
Lake Walker 7:10 am and 3:10 pm, M-F

This schedule will begin operation effective May 30th through August 9th, 2023.

  • On-Demand Service in the Middle of the Day:
For those with transportation needs outside the scheduled times, we will be offering an on-demand service. This means that you will have the flexibility to request a pickup at your convenience, at designated stops along the current routes. When the regular shuttle buses are not running, simply head to the current pickup location, and request a ride by calling 410-704-RIDE.

Please note that the on-demand service will only operate in between the new scheduled runs, ensuring that you have transportation options throughout the day.

We are dedicated to providing you with convenient transportation services and we will closely monitor ridership and trends over the summer. This information will be used to create transportation schedules for future semester breaks. Our goal is to ensure our shuttle services remain responsive to the evolving needs of our community – as always, the safety and well-being of our passengers remain our utmost priority.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period of adjusted shuttle operations.
