Mental Health First Aid Registration

Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. This course is open to all TU Faculty and Staff at no cost to provide resources to support TU students in crisis and reduce stigma surrounding mental health and substance use problems. Most courses will be “blended-learning” and require two hours of self-paced pre-work prior to the instructor-led session.

The class is scheduled on July 15th from 9am – 4pm.  .  Detailed information for the participants will be sent out directly upon completion of registration.

Faculty/Staff can register at recreation.towson.edu by clicking on the “mental health first aid” icon or using the search feature.
