Effective May 5, 2022, there will be an international restriction on access to TU’s Duo-protected services. Faculty and staff attempting to log into Duo-protected applications from countries or regions currently under economic or trade sanctions from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) will be blocked. What to expect
Users attempting to log into TU applications like PeopleSoft, Blackboard, etc. through Duo from those locations will receive an error message: “Access Denied. Duo Security does not provide services in your current location” or other generic failed login message. Affected users will be unable to use TU services.
If you aren’t in an OFAC sanctioned area, no actions are required as this doesn’t affect you.
