One Week Left to Apply to be a Mentor in the Transfer Mentor Program!

Description: The Transfer Mentor Program pairs faculty, staff and peer mentors to incoming transfer students; it is designed to provide those students with support in their career and academic development. The Transfer Mentor Program (TMP) was recognized by the Association for Orientation, Transition, and Retention (NODA) as the national innovative program of the year in 2018.

This program is entirely run by TU volunteers-the student capacity of the program is only limited by the number of mentors who offer their time to support an incoming transfer student. Please note that all professional staff and faculty are welcome to serve as mentors, however, students should only apply to be mentors if they are in their second year or higher at Towson University for this program.

To volunteer, please fill out this short form by January 24, 2022. Expectations and important dates for mentors to know are listed at the top of the form to volunteer Although the deadline is not until January, I encourage you to apply sooner! It should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete: https://forms.gle/G3oYjPEWE1w7haS68

Please feel free to e-mail jruiz@towson.edu  with any questions.
