How to Apply

  2. Log in to your Horizons account and access the Study Abroad Scholarships application from the “Search Scholarships” tab.
  3. Select the term that you are applying for, and follow the steps to apply.
  4. To be considered for the TU Institutional Diversity Study Abroad Scholarship or the TU Joan Durham King Travel Abroad Scholarship, complete the appropriate supplemental short-answer questions in the online scholarship application.

Please visit our website for more information and feel free to contact our office with any questions.

NOTE: Towson University monitors the global health and security situation to inform decisions regarding study abroad programming. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and restrictions on international travel, study abroad may continue to be impacted in upcoming terms. If a student is awarded a TU Study Abroad Scholarship and is unable to go abroad due to COVID, they will be allowed to defer their scholarship for up to one year from the date of award (pending available scholarship funds).
