Faculty and staff can show their pride in the ‘new TU’ by updating their desk phones and TU computer desktops with images featuring the new Towson University brand mark. It only takes about a minute!

Update your desk phone background image
Display the new TU brand mark by following these quick steps for your Cisco IP desk phone.

On 7945 and 7965 models:

  1. Press the settings button
  2. Press 1 for User Preferences
  3. Press 2 for Background Images
  4. Use the Navigation buttons to find and select the new TU brand mark
  5. Press Select (just underneath the screen)
  6. Press Save (just underneath the screen)
  7. Press Exit twice

On a 8851 model:

  1. Press the settings button (gear like tool symbol on left side near the handset)
  2. Press 2 for Settings
  3. Press 1 for Wallpaper
  4. Use the Navigation buttons to find and select the new TU brand mark
  5. Press Set (just underneath the screen)
  6. Press Exit twice (just underneath the screen)

Update your computer desktop image
Get the new TU brand mark background image (or theme) on your TU computer. Watch OTS Training’s quick video to walk through the process for adding the ‘new TU’ brand mark to your Windows or Mac desktop.
