Mayo’s Buzzer Beater Earns Towson’s First Win Over Drexel Since 2010
After trailing by 11 at halftime, the Towson University women’s basketball team came back to defeat Drexel on Friday night in Philadelphia, 55-54. Junior Nukiya Mayo scored a buzzer-beater to seal the win, also the first Tiger win against the Dragons since 2010.
