Pre-Retirement Seminars
NEW dates for the full-day Pre-Retirement seminars hosted by Community College of Baltimore College have been posted for January and February.
These one-day seminars are a valuable pre-retirement planning tool for all eligible members of the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System and their spouses. Pre-Retirement Seminars are designed to assist members within eight (8) years of retirement eligibility. The seminars include presentations about the State Retirement and Pension plan, Social Security, health, legal issues, and other retirement related topics. Sessions fill up quickly, so register today!
Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, all seminars will be offered as webinars covering the same topics as the in-person sessions. Webinars will run from 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. Use this link for dates, further instructions and registration: http://www.ccbcmd.edu/ceed-preretirement-state. After registration, participants will receive a link to the webinar with instructions to participate.
The registration link is also accessible on the Maryland State Retirement Agency website where the Retirement Agency also offers 1 hour Maryland State Retirement and Pension system webinars.
